I went to Home Depot today with my uncle and I couldn’t just leave these babies there. However I have no idea what they are, any guesses?

********************

The first one is most likely an echeveria elegans, but it’s hard to tell since the leaves aren’t in great shape – it’s starting to show signs of overwatering and not enough light, so get on that asap! The second one is a peperomia graveolens. The third is an echeveria ‘tippy’, and the last one is a graptoveria ‘silver star’.

I am so sorry for so many pictures, but we just got a new batch of babies today, and I’d like to know what they are and how to care for them! I know one is an aloe (not sure what kind) and I’d say two more are succulents but that’s all I’ve got. My mother in law found them at a garage sale today. 🙂 Thank you so much in advance!! 🍃🌿🍃

Top left is aloe vera, top right is bryophyllum x houghtonii. The third picture is a graptopetalum or one of its hybrids, in need of A LOT more light. The last one is a dracaena, I think. Someone might be able to pinpoint that further. Best of luck!

Echeveria pulidonis! It’s very common in cultivation, and with more light will get brighter edges of red.

sorry to bother but do you know this plant species? I heard he dies off for most of the year and you aren’t supposed to water him AT ALL when he dies off,,,, hMM…. curious I think he’s totally unique though 👀👀👀 he’s a succulent aswell and has pink blooms

It’s… some kind of caudiciform! I don’t really know much about them, but I’m sure some of my followers do!

So my plant recently fell like this … and I watered him and he hasn’t sprung up. This isn’t the light he’s kept in, I moved him for photos …. I gave him a tad more light but I’m concerned.

He looks dehydrated. Ivy is super finicky when it comes to water. Even if you let the soil get just a SMIDGE too dry for its liking it does this stupid droopy thing. I would soak the entire plant, pot and all, in a large bucket of water for a couple of hours until the soil is completely saturated. It might also help to cut it back, so the plant can focus on repairing and regrowing its roots.

Hey, I don’t mean to bother, but I was wondering if you could help me id this guy?? He isn’t like any succulent I’ve seen before!

Not a bother at all, my dude! 💕 You’ve got an AWESOME portulaca molokiniensis. He’s a succulent from Hawaii. 🙂

Can anyone help me ID this beauty? Bottom picture is where is was growing in the wild, and its killing me not knowing what it is!
Thanks a bunch ❤❤

It’s a dudleyafarinosa!

Not accusing you of anything, but for those not in the know… Please keep in mind that this species is now threatened because of people stealing them from the wild and selling them. PLEASE, FRIENDS — don’t take any plants from the wild unless you’re sure of their conservation status + whether or not they are invasive!!

Does anyone know the id of this babe?

The variegated leaf spotting would imply a type of croton, but the foliage form I think implies otherwise….. so I’m really not sure. Anyone else got an idea?

Gold Dust dracaena! i have one and it gives me nothing but grief. 🙃

hi there! if you have the time, would you mind telling me what you think this little guy is? i picked him up at lowe’s and there isn’t any sort of identification.

He’s awesome! Looks like a crassula lycopodioides.

Ok so 👀 my Monstera came from a cutting I too…

Ok so 👀 my Monstera came from a cutting I took out of my backyard before winter hit and killed my huge leaves my original one had, thank god I took this cutting. But uh 👀👀 he’s getting a little big and heavy on his front end, I’m supporting him by using a picture frame any recommendations on how to keep him in a pot and upright when he gets heavier?

********************

He’s beautiful! monstera can grow fabulously large, so you’re going to need a nice heavy pot (ceramic or stone) and some supports. i’ve seen people use moss poles, wood or bamboo stakes, or even hang the vines from the wall / ceiling using rope or wall mounts. most home improvement stores will have ready made plant supports, but if they go into the soil make sure they’re non-rusting!
