Hello! I’m not sure if this is how you do this, but I was wondering if you possibly knew what kind of plant this is? I picked it up from the biology club on campus, but the lady didn’t know what kind it was. The leaves and stem are soft and fuzzy, and they didn’t know if it will flower or not. I’m sorry to bother you with this!

Not a bother! 🙂 What you have here is a kalanchoe beharensis, aka ‘Oak Leaf’ kalanchoe. They usually flower anywhere between fall and early spring, but this depends on location and temperature. Good luck with your new pal!

No bother at all! 🙂 What you have here is a kalanchoe beharensis ‘Oak Leaf’. Kalanchoes usually flower anytime between fall and early spring, depending on their care and location. Good luck with your new friend!!
